Suggestion: Medical Beds that are able to follow people around

Whilst having a conversation with one of my medics they mentioned an old mod that made it possible to use the medic beds as transport through maps or on the ISD, I asked them to find the mods if possible and we found them quite quickly. I looked through the mod and it seems to work just fine at least for me

How will this affect the server?: I believe we all have seen the "RP: Supports "X" Person to X Location" However with this mod that will not be necessary anymore, by just spawning these in as medics we are able to deepen the immersion of the rp by having a hover stretcher that can help transport patients along the ship or on field if required.

+1 could also add obj's for events where a medic and a regiment have to escort out someone injured and this could be used for that

It adds alot of possibilities on expanding medical involvement within events and possibly on ship aswell. also makes more sense than just defibing EC's and then their able to fully run and gun again. Gives more layer to the whole operation if they have to safely escort the target out. I have seen it before and it has quite simple controls and does not bug out that often, so it just seems like a big bonus to the medical RP

It really doesn't add any 'possibility' or 'rp' like what people are saying, but it's your friends that are +1'ing you so it makes sense. You already have a problem with people not waiting for medics to come revive them. Nobody wants to wait 10 minutes for a medic to do rp on them in the middle of the event, they want to actually enjoy themselves and have fun.

You have a time and place for your roleplay and it's not to ruin the planetary.

It won't be useful on the ISD either as you have facilities for treating your troopers. Just sounds to me like you want to add things for the sake of adding things when you know it's a useless addition.

The Addon you have linked has a few issue mainly around how it tracks and follows the player, realistically it could only be used on the ISD however due to the way it moves it makes it hard for it to follow when changing floors and it would ruin the "RP" if you have to respawn it for each floor. While it may be used for the first few days it would quickly become something which wouldnt be used once the novelty wears off

not really that needed and would more than likely be misused as the addon suggested iv used before and it caused issues with the beds injuring people.
